The W-4 can be confusing. We can go through it line by line so it matches your household, your jobs, and your deductions.
Paycheck withholding
If you owed more than you expected last year, or got a refund much bigger than you wanted, we can adjust your withholding to get closer to even.
Two incomes
When both spouses work, or you have more than one job, withholding often comes up short. We’ll check that both W-4s work together.
Life changes
Marriage, divorce, a new baby, buying a home, or retiring can all change your taxes. We’ll talk about what to expect.
Side income
Starting a side business or gig work? We can talk about estimated payments and keeping good records from the start.
Getting ready for tax season
Not sure which documents you’ll need or whether to itemize? We can go over it ahead of time so filing is easier.
Helpful to bring
A recent pay stub (yours and your spouse's), your current W-4 if you have a copy, and last year's tax return.
